Mrs. Catherine Cleaver White, 80, formerly of 5757 Kenwood av., died Sunday in an Evanston nursing home after a five year illness. She was the widow of Harold F. White, an attorney who died in 1936. Mrs. White, member of a Chicago family that settled here in 1833, was a former director of International House at the University of Chicago. She was active in the campaign for the state's first driver's license law. Surviving are three sons, Roger Q., H. Ferris, and Philip C. White; one sister; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 10 in the University Church of Disciples, 5700 University av.
