He was born November 29, 1904, in Cheshire, Oregon, and had been a resident of this community until 1950, when he moved to Medford. On May 225, 1929 he was united in marriage to Vera Gum, who survives him; also one son, Maurice L. Hise of Springfield; 1 daugher, Mrs. Eileen Peart of Medford; 3 brothers, Glenn of Corvallis, Delbert and Donald, both of Junction City; 3 sisters: Mrs. Ethel Borgaard of Junction City, Mrs. Joanne Prairie of Eugene and Mrs. Delaine Syphers of Blachly; 4 grand-children; 2 daughters preceded him in death. He was a member of Eugene Lodge #11 AF&AM. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 18, 1958, aqt 2 p.m. in Simon-Lounsbury Mortuary, Rev. Robert L. Henkel officiating. Interment in West Lawn Cemetery. Eugene Ldoge Number 11 AF&AM participating.
