My Mom Rosemary M Anderson was born on Dec 11. 1907. She graduated from 8th grade She went to work as a comptometer operator in a office in New York City and attended High School at night. She was first married in 1928 and widowed years later in 1933. She was a talented dancer in her youth, and won several Harvest Moon Championships in New York City.
After several years of widowhood and working at several office jobs ,Mom traveled across country, to California to re-unite with my Dad who had never married.
She married my Dad in 1939.She helped him in his auto parts and battery business. Her daughter Rose(me) was born in 1940 and my late sister Katie in 1944.
Mom enjoyed reading curent evtnts, her friends,and travel Her beloved New York friends were Agnes Coston and Agnes O'Brien and Her sis- in -law from her first marriage Ronnie Burke.
In California her best friends,were Ann Smith, Dot Porter, Ruth Parish, Nan Thompson and her family were so important to her. She was a great Mom .I love and miss her. Her Daughter Rose I can be contacted at [email protected]
