Mrs. Vera Jackson, daughter of Mirium and Sanford Kenaston, was born January 8, 1892 at Springview, Nebraska. Here she attended school and grew to womanhood.
She was united in marriage to Henry C. Jackson at Springview on June 29, 1910. To this union four children were born, Fern, Margaret, Jean and Rolan.
The couple established their home on a ranch north of Springview. In 1945 they moved to Ainsworth. Mr. Jackson died in April of 1950.
In 1952 she was united in marriage to Henry's brother, John L. Jackson of Winnett, Montana. They made their home in Ainsworth.
Vera Jackson died at the Ainsworth Hospital on October 26, 1963 at the age of 71 years after a prolonged illness.
She is survived by her husband, John, of Ainsworth; three daughters, Fern Kienke of Burton, Nebraska, Margaret Carlson of Ainsworth, Jean Leslie of Omaha, Nebraska; one son, Rolan of Norfolk, Nebraska; one sister, Mrs. Ira Vargason of Aberdeen, Idaho; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
