She married her first husband, Marion S. Moore of Idaho and Missouri, about 1928, probably in Lake county, Tennessee. He was the son of Charles Calvin Moore, the governor of Idaho from 1923 to 1927. Marion and Frances lost their only child, Charles, in 1933; they divorced and both remarried by 1940.

Her second husband, Willard Farrar of Massachusetts and Missouri, was an oil/petroleum geologist, a graduate of the University of Missouri. They married 1 Oct 1939 in Lake County, Tennessee and were living in Evanston, IL, in 1940 and Jackson, MS, in 1941. He evidently enlisted as an officer in the US Army Corp of Engineers. Some family records state he died in Europe in 1945, but he actually died in 1943, place not yet identified, but was not buried at Vicksburg until 1948. He was born as Kenneth Willard Proctor, but was given the surname of his step father, Clarence William Willis Farrar, who married his mother in 1907.

She married her third husband, James Zasadil of Chicago, in 1952 in Dade county, Florida. They lived for many years in Fort Myers, where both were living at the time of their respective deaths. A burial location for James has not been located.
