Mrs Ida Bush, 78, of Bartonsville, died Saturday at 1 am in the Monroe County General Hospital. She had been in failing health for several years and a patient in the hospital the past three weeks.
She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mariah Williams Krotzer of Bartonsville, and the widow of George Bush.
Mrs Bush is survived by five sons, Charles H Bush, Bartonsville; Melvin Bush, East Stroudsburg RD3; Clarence Bush, Wind Gap; Floyd Bush, Brodheadsville; and Carl Krotzer, East Stroudsburg RD3; two daughters, Mrs Albert Getz, and Mrs Chester Miller, both of East Stroudsburg RD3; 22 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs Lillian Swink, Stroudsburg, and Mrs Myrtle Houck, Merchantsville, NJ.
She was a lifelong resident of the Bartonsville area, where she was a member of St John's Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm in Gantzhorn Funeral Home, Tannersville. Interment will be in St John's Cemetery, Bartonsville.
Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home today after 7 pm.
