He had previously been employed by Gladfelter Paper Mill, Spring Grove, Joe the Motorist Friend, in Hanover, Weis Markets, in Hanover, and Tyco Electronics, in East Berlin. He had previously been a member of the Church of the Nazarene, and recently had been attending church at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, York Street, Hanover.
He was survived by his loving wife, Darlene (Helwig) Adams; two sons, Mitchell A. Adams of Harrisburg; and Christopher L. Adams of Hanover; one daughter, Misti S. (Adams) Unger of New Oxford; and four grandchildren, Lauren and Dru Adams of Hanover; and Taylor and Cade Unger of New Oxford.
He often joked about walking uphill both to and from school, in the snow. As a child he lived in the Pigeon Hills, Hanover, PA, so I guess that was really possible.
Burial is in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
