There is a U.S., Headstone Applications for Military Veterans, 1925-1970 record that shows a Rupert Barton, PFC U.S. Army Co E. 7th Engrs (1917-1919)—with the same dates of birth and death on the application as this Rupert Barton—who was buried at Sunset Cemetery in Quincy, Illinois, not Oakwood Cemetery in Greenfield, Illinois.
