SLATED FOR MONDAY

Services for J. Raymond Cornelison Sr., 71, of 1102 Cumberland, will be at 1
p.m. Monday at Guardian Midtown Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park
Cemetery. He died Friday at an Edmond nursing home.

A native of Erick, Cornelison graduated from the University of Oklahoma School
of Law in 1928 and had served as county judge of Beckham County. He moved to
New York City to work with the Federal Bureau of Investigation then returned to
Tulsa to work for Douglas Aircraft.

He had also been employed by Pan American Petroleum Corp. for 22 years. He was
a past patron of Siloam Masonic Lodge and was a member of Crown Heights Baptist
Church.

Survivors include his wife, Louise; a son J. Raymond Jr., Oklahoma City; a
daughter, Mrs. Lorna B. Shingler, Colorado; a stepson, Jack S. Compton, Tulsa;
three sisters, Mrs. Ralph Teague, Pawnee; Mrs. Amy C. Rose, San Bernadino,
Calif., and Mary Lee Cornelison, Billings, and three brothers, B. C., Edmond;
Virgil, Corpus Christi, Tex., and K. L., Los Angeles.
