Mrs. Elsa Urban, 58, of 110 E. Mill St., Plymouth, died Friday noon at the Plymouth Hospital after having been in failing health for the past several years.
She was born April 7, 1897 in Sheboygan, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Daehn. On March 4, 1914, she was married to Herman W. Urban and the couple lived on various farms in the county until 1930 when they moved to New Holstein.
Mr. Urban died Aug. 8, 1937 and since 1949 Mrs. Urban made her home in Plymouth.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelicial Lutheran Church at Plymouth.
Survivors are five sons, William of Manitowoc, George of Rockville, John of New Holstein, Lester of Hayton, and Harold of Milwaukee; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Florence) Jentsch of Potter, Mrs. Norbert (Helen) Mohs and Miss Elsie Urban of Plymouth; 17 grandchildren; one brother, Herbert Daehn of Sheboygan; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Bennett and Mrs Clark Payne of Cascade and Mrs. Arno Delo of Sheboygan.
Besides her hsband she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's Evangelicial Lutheran Church at Plymouth with the Rev. G. A. Karpinsky, assistant pastor, officiating and burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in the town of Rhine.
Friends may call at the Wittkopp Funeral Home from 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon until 11 a.m. Monday and then at the church from noon until the time of services.
