Hayley Dawn Hanowell passed away on May 1, 2010, in the peaceful presence of her loving family.

Hayley was born on June 11, 1990, in Bellingham, Washington, to her two loving parents: Tim & Rhonda Hanowell. Hayley grew up attending Nooksack Valley Baptist Church (now Christ Fellowship) in Everson with her family. She spent her childhood playing with her two sisters, Jennifer and Leann, and she was active year-round in sports, including volleyball, golf, cross-country, basketball, soccer, fastpitch and cheerleading. Hayley graduated from Nooksack Valley High School with the class of 2008, and she was an incredible source of joy and delight for all who knew her.

Hayley is survived by her parents, Tim & Rhonda Hanowell (Everson); her sisters, Jennifer and her husband Ryan Pemberton (Everson), and Leann Van Dyken and her husband Ben Van Dyken (Everson); her grandparents, Daryl & Dorothy Blankers (Everson), and Bob & Ann Hanowell (Everson); her great grandparents, Bob & Kathryn Blankers (Lynden), and May Bayes (Lynden); her aunts and uncles, Mel & Shannon Blankers (Everson), Rob & Rockelle Baddeley (Bellingham), Ray & Gwen Rediger (Everson), Brad & Tammy Johnson (Sumas), Laurie Hanowell (Seattle); and an extended line of loving cousins and great aunts & uncles.
