MAMIE PATTON BEILAR
Word has been received here of the death of Mamie Patton Bielar, 88, who died April 15 in a Walnut Creek convalescent hospital.
Born in Fruto, she was a graduate of Willows High School and moved to Meridian in 1923 with her late husband, Logan. She moved to Yuba City in 1968. She was a Sutter County resident for a total of 63 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Fickett of Walnut Creek; a sister, Neva Wasley of Willows; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Troxel of Marysville; a brother-in-law, Charlie Bielar of Paradise; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
