Zebbie was the son of Zebbie Robinson, Sr. and Ethel Robinson. He was educated in the Bibb County School System. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps on July 6, 1966 and served for 3 1/2 years, receiving his Honarble Discharge. He then began employment as a Police Officer in Washington, D.C. He later returned to Macon, Georgia where he worked as a Corrections Officer. Early in life, he joined the Greater Union Baptist Church.

1 Sister-In-Law: Juanita Robinson.
3 Loving Nieces: Janice Stanford(Benjamin), Cheryl Gaddis(Billy) and Dr. Tonya Robinson.
1 Dedicated Nephew: Donnie Robinson, Jr.
1 Aunt: Annie Mae Jones.
Services were held Monday, August 23, 2010 at 1PM in the Sanctuary of Sandbed Baptist Church in Perry, Georgia with Rev. Floyd Clarington officiating.
