Services for Annie Ruth Quinn Bessonette, of Brookhaven, were Jan. 30 at Faith Pentecostal Church with burial in Union Hall Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Bessonette, 81, died Jan. 27, 2008, at Brook Manor Nursing Home. She was born on July 2, 1926, to Luther Quinn and Alberta Mason Quinn.
She was loved dearly by all her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Malcolm Bessonette; a granddaughter, Michelle Bessonette; and three sisters, Jo McGuffie, Margie Griffith, and Nell Krogstad.
Survivors are her sons, James Bessonette and wife Becky, Mike Bessonette and wife Barbara, and Ricky Bessonette and wife Rioann, all of Brookhaven; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Bernice Quinn Wilson; a brother, Ret. Lt. Col. James Quinn; and many nieces and nephews.
