Bette Lou Dyer, 76, of Baytown, Texas passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at a Baytown hospital. Bette was born February 11, 1928 in Sewickley, Pa., She was a Nurse at Gulf Coast Hospital, worked at a pharmacy, and was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting, reading and swimming. She was very family oriented. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Agnes (Swanson) Johnston; husband, Omar Lewis Dyer, daughter-in-law, Carolyn (Moore) Dyer, and 1 granddaughter, Lisha Bell.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Navarre Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be a 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2004 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church with Rev. Dottie Dumas officiating. Burial will be at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Russ Snider, Robert Snider, Ricky Jackson, John Micah Dyer, Bill Bowden and Rusty Snider. Honorary Pallbearers are Sgt. Mark Benson and D. A. Wheeler.
