OBITUARY :
CLARENCE I. DEARDORFF, 61, husband of Nellie Monighan Deardorff, died at his home on Fairfield R D 1, Friday at 9 a.m.

He had been in failing health for some time.

He was born in Adams County. He had been employed at the Magnus Metal Works Waynesboro.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children Clarence I. Deardorff, Jr., Mobile, Ala., Ronald E. Deardorff, Orrtanna; Mrs. Priscilla Sites, at home, Mrs. Margaret Ann Moore, Rouzerville, and Pvt. William B. Deardorff, Fort Dix, N.J., and four granddaughters.

Also surviving are five brothers and sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Speelman, Gettysburg R D 3, Clifford and Glenn Powell, both of Orrtanna, Mrs. Josephine Pike, Falls Church, Va., and Bernard Powell, Gettysburg R D 3.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home Fairfield, in charge of the Rev. Samuel H. Flora. Burial will be made in Burns Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.

Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday evening.

FUNERAL SERVICES :
Funeral services for CLARENCE I. DEARDORFF, Fairfield R.D. 1, were held Monday afternoon at the Wilson Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Burial was made in Burns Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ray Kuhn, Dale Shultz, Mickey Benchoff, Clarence Forsythe, Raymond Wetzel and Earl Shindledecker.
