Majorie Bader Coles

Marjorie Bader Coles, 89, of Richmond, Va., formerly of South Charleston, passed away on February 1, 2009. She was born in Winona, on May 2, 1919. She graduated from Nuttall High School.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Effie McCutcheon Bader; sisters, Alma Susie Binns and Ruth Elizabeth Bader.

She is survived by her sons, Kermit (Bill) and wife, Wanda of Nitro, Kenneth of Richmond, Va.; and her daughter, Nancy Ratcliffe and her husband, Raymond of Mechanicsville, Va.; granddaughter, Melanie Coles Hedrick of Nitro; grandsons, William Patrick Coles and wife, Chris of Charleston, Darrell Ratcliffe, Sr. and wife Kelli of Mechanicsville, Va., Rusty Ratcliffe and wife Terry of Buckingham, Va.; 15 great-grandchildren, Erica Neal, Christopher Lane, Madeline, Karly and Rebecca Southall, Jerrod and Allison Coles, Kellie, Darrell, Jr., Justin Ratcliffe, Chad and Crystal Dubbs, Bailey, Amber and Trey Keller; four great-great-grandchildren, Serena and Cohen Neal and Ashlynn and Bonnie Dubbs.

Funeral service will be on February 6, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at High Lawn Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Marie Underwood officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are being made through High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill.
