Ranson Joseph Vedros, 76, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Mathews,
died at 1:25 a.m. May 5, 2005.
Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Hilary Church in Mathews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Resurrection Memorial Park in Raceland.
He is survived by his wife, Beulah Bergeron Vedros; sons, Daniel and Rene Vedros; daughters, Cheryl Adams, Denise Folse and Lisa Dufrene; a brother, Alvin Vedros; sisters, Louise Foret, Alice Carlos and Nelma Naquin; and seven
grandchilren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvest and Evalina Pierce Vedros; and a sister, Doris Vedros.
He was a parishioner of St. Hilary.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
