Marianna K. Lee, cherished mother and grandmother, passed away on January 13, 2021.
A longtime resident of Williamsburg, Marianna was born on January 11, 1932. It was her aspiration in life to be there for those who needed her the most and she was the first person to lend a helping hand. She was truly selfless and made sure all that were around her were taken care of.
Marianna was a valuable employee of the City of Williamsburg and retired after thirty years of dedicated service. She was called "Grandma" by many, including local establishments who grew to love her as well. Marianna was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Lee; son, Billy Newman; her daughter, Kay Nordeman; and eight siblings.
She is survived by many who will miss her dearly including her daughter, Patty Sparks (Larry); sister, Patricia Baker; her granddaughters, Cori Tobler (Tony), Tina Nordeman, Jackie Ammons (Brennan), Dana Crawford, Brooke Espinoza (Carlos); and her grandsons, Curt Nordeman and Matthew Sparks. Her love extended to eleven great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
A visitation will be held from 11:00am to 12:30pm , Monday, January 18, 2021. A family graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, January 18, 2021 at Williamsburg Memorial Park, 130 King William Dr.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Williamsburg United Methodist Church.
