Services for Mrs. Bobby Dale Cook Bailey were held Sun., Sept. 1, 1963 at Kosciusko's First Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Mrs. Bailey, 22, died at Montford Jones Memorial Hospital Fri. night following an illness of several months. Officiating at last rites was the Rev. J. C. Christian and Rev. Harold Hilbun. Burial was in Parkway Cemetery directed by Nowell Funeral Home. Mrs. Bailey, born in Attala County, was the daughter of Mrs. Ida Grice Cook and the late John David Cook. She was a member of Chapel Hill Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Sherman Bailey; two sons, Ricky Troy and Randy Paul Bailey; her Mother, Mrs. Ida Grice Cook of McCool; one brother, Billy Cook, of McCool; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Newsom, Mrs. Dorothy Corder, both of Memphis and Mrs. Vivian Hodge of Jackson. Pallbearers were Charles Terry, Basil Jones, Bobby McDaniel, Travis Grice, Wayne Cook, and Benny Bailey. Published in Star Herald, on Sept. 5, 1963.
