Jimmy was a member of the Rifle Elks Lodge, and the Grand Junction Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing and sports. He resided in Grand Junction for 10 years and was an installer for Western Electric during that time.
On 21 Sept 1968, he was united in marriage to Lydia Brown, she survives him. Jimmie is also survived by his parents, Simon and Mildred Waddell, grandparents, Oliver and Ethal Wood, daughters Lelani and Sharla, and numerous friends and family.
