Jeri was my childhood best friend. We attended Fairmont School in Anaheim. She died of a brain tumor at the age of 8. I remember her illness and death like it was yesterday. I only have a small grainy photo of her, but I thought there should at least be a memorial to her. She was a red-headed, freckle-faced cut-up and a good little girl.
