Mrs. Irene M. Ace, 70, formerly of Pen Argyl, died Saturday in Valley Manor Nursing Home, Coopersburg, where she was a guest two years.
Mrs. Ace was last employed by Gemini Sportswear, Pen Argyl.
Born in Pen Argyl, she was a daughter of the late Millard and Erna Delp Hendershot. Her husband, Frederick Ace, died in 1958.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Pen Argyl Senior Citizens and Rachel Jackson Chapter of Democratic Women, all of Pen Argyl.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Frutchey, Pen Argyl; a brother Ralph Hendershot, Nazareth R.D. 2; two sisters, Mrs. Merrill George, Wid Gap, and Mrs. Leslie Harris, Pen Argyl; a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, Pen Argyl. Internment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl.
