Mrs Eva B. Case, 81 1342 S. 19th St., died at her home Friday morning following a sudden illness. Services are at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Epworth United Methodist Church, with the Rev. William Trembly, pastor, officiating. Burial is in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Bruce Funeral Home.

Survivors are her son, Elmer Arlo, Fort Dodge; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Elmer Stevens, Flossmoor, Ill., Dee Stevens, Mountain Home, Ark; sisters, Mrs. Nellie Griffin, Fremont, Calif., Mrs. Grace Andrews, Fort Dodge, Mrs. Burl (Vera) Anderson, Onawa, Mrs. Genevieve Smith, Humboldt, Mrs. Art (Neoma) Carlson, Fort Dodge, Mrs. Wilford (Frances) Hanna, Humboldt.

Eve Stevens was born in Brownington, Mo., where she started her education and later moved with her parents (Charles A. & Maggie E.) as a young girl to Fort Dodge where she finished school. After school she worked at Marso and Rodenborn Manufacturers, Fort Dodge.

In 1922, she married Elmer Case in Fort Dodge and the couple made their home here. She later worked at Fort Dodge Tent and Awning where she was employed during World War II. Her husband worked at The Messenger for 50 years. He died in 1976. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge and Epworth church circles.

Memorials may be left to the Epworth United Methodist Church.
