From the Bangor, Maine, Daily Whig and Courier, January 29, 1878:
“Capt. B. B. Bradbury, for nearly twenty-five years a resident of this city, died at his home on Pine street yesterday morning after a long and painful illness. Mr. Bradbury was a man of clear and decided religious convictions, well informed, of quick perceptions and strong powers of reasoning, thoughtful and devoted to his family and friends. During his sickness he bore the pain and discomfort of his condition with peculiar serenity, and at last with unshaken trust parted with his wife and children and “fell on sleep.” Funeral services will be held at his late residence, 35 Pine Street, Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock.”
