Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
----------~~~~~~~~~~~----------------------------------------

Always a silent hurt,
many a silent tear,
but always a beautiful memory
of one we loved so dear.

God gave us strength to bear it,
and courage to take the blow,
but what it meant to lose you

...no one will ever know.

----''''''-----'''''''-------

I still miss you
as the day and years pass
I still miss you
as the pain of grief softens
I still miss you
as new memories are made
I still miss you
as I smile and laugh
I still miss you
today and everyday
I still miss you
