Marguerite was the daughter of Edmond ( Edmund )Roger and Marie Marguerite Jagneaux .She married Ozeme Lejeune June 15,1896 in Church Point V. 5 page 21. She was the Mother of 12 children. Six Boys & Six Girls. She was a very small lady ,about four foot ten inches tall. She had all her children ,natural birth. My grandmother lived to be 83 years of age.Mom said ,she sew all their clothes and kept a clean home. She baked all her bread fresh daily. Grandma love her little English garden. Which took most of her front yard. I learn from her, early in age the difference Between a flower and Weed. I would help on my summer visits. Grandmother told me once ,if you watch the big sunflower by the gate ,it will follow the sun. It did. I am sure it was her way of keeping me quiet. My grandmother was a very religious person , and never miss Mass. She will always be greatly loved and missed.
