Iona was the cherished daughter of Frank and Anna Fitzgerald of rural Reedsburg.
She was baptized on August 30, 1923, at Sacred Heart Church by Father Kiernan. Her Godparents were Edward and Theresa Fitzgerald.
Iona is the treasured, red-haired sister of Geraldine, Patrick, Mary, Cecelia, Rose, Michael, Francis (Rusty), Dennis and Lucy Fitzgerald.
Although Iona's life was cut short by measles, she was always surrounded by the affection of her loving family.
Iona is missed by all her remaining siblings and by many nieces and nephews who never had the chance to meet her, but love and honor her memory.
