Funeral services for Mrs. Augusta Grantham Womack will be held from Upton Funeral Home Chapel Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Bob Odenwald officiating. Interment will be in the Womack cemetery with Upton Funeral Home in charge. The body will lie in state at the funeral home until the final rites.
Mrs. Womack, 86 years old, died early Wednesday morning at a convalescent home in Jackson. The widow of the late L. T. Womack, she was a lifelong resident of Mendenhall until ill health forced her to move to the home of her daughter In Jackson.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Macon Garber of Jackson and Mrs. Quay Savage of Moss Point; one sister, Mrs. Alice Bartee of Vossburg; ten grandchildren; and twenty - three great grandchildren.
