The former Anastasia Miodowski entered the postulancy of the Felician Sisters in Lodi in 1935, and received the Felician habit in 1936. She made first religious vows in 1937 and professed final vows in 1943. An elementary and high school teacher, she earned a B.S. degree in elementary education at Seton Hall University and a M.A. in French at Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
She was scheduled to celebrate her diamond jubilee of religious life on May 23, 2010.
Surviving are her brother, the Rev. Leonard Miodowski of Rutherford and members of her extended family.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Felician Sisters Infirmary Chapel, Our Lady of Lourdes Hall. Internment in the Felician Sisters Cemetery in Lodi.
