Mrs. Angelina Johnson, widow of Robort A. Johnson, died Saturday at her home at Navesink, where she had lived for more than half a century. She was in her 87th year and was very active for one of her age until a short time before her death. On Tuesday she was stricken with a heart attack and sank rapidly. Mrs. Johnson was a Hammell before her marriage and was born at Windsor in Mercer county. She had lived at Navesink nearly all of her married life. Until the infirmities of age prevented she was active in the Methodist church of that place. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Glendora Hart of Atlantic Highlands and Mrs. William A. Sweeney of Red Bank: a nephew, Raymond L. Taylor, who had lived with her since childhood; two grandchildren, Mrs. Raymond A. Geary and Hollis A. Hart of Atlantic Highlands, and a great-granddaughter, Margery Geary. She also leaves a brother, Frank Hammell of Princeton. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the house in charge of Rev. David Wilson of Greenville, former pastor of the Navesink Methodist church. Many beautiful floral offerings were received. The bearers were four nephews, Nea, Otto and Donald Johnson, sons of Joseph Johnson of Navesink, treasurer of Middletown township, and Leon Liming, also of Navesink. Interment in charge of A. M. Posten & S ons, of Atlantic Highlands was in Fair View cemetery.
