She was born January 16, 1924 in Moundsville, WV, a daughter of the late Don F. and Rosa Hill Burkey. Mrs. Coffield was a retired employee of McGhee Office Supply, Wheeling, and a member of the Limestone Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Coffield; three brothers, Donald, Archie and Paul Burkey; three sisters, Myrtle Andrews, Clara Fonner, and Trixie Faye Frye.
Surviving are three sisters, Mary Cunningham of Moundsville, Evelyn Williams of Glen Easton, and Rosalie Clark of Cameron; a brother, Robert Burkey of Cameron; numerous nieces and nephews.
