Ina was born September 17, 1916, in Memphis, Hall County, X. She and her family moved to Melrose, NM, in 1934. It was there she met her husband, Johnny Miller, and they were married December 23, 1935. Ina was a farmer's wife and an excellent cook, providing lots of good fun for all their hands during the years they did custom harvesting. Ina and Johnny moved to Logan, NM, in 1960s and started the North Dock Trailer Park. She and her husband ran the park together until his death in 1992. She had been an active member of the First Baptist Church of Logan, NM.
Surviving Ina is her son, Tommy Miller and wife, Betty of Logan, NM; her daughter, Joanne Dickenson and husband, Jim of Melrose, NM; 9 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Johnny Miller; one sister; three brothers, and two great grandchildren.
Serrvices celebrating her life will be Saturday morning, August 28, 2010, in the First Baptist Church of Logan, NM, beginning at 10:30 AM with Rev. Steve Kulback officiating. Interment will take place at the Melrose Cemetery at 2:30 PM that same afternoon in Melrose, NM. Pallbearers will be James E. Dickenson Jr., Kevin W. Miller, Joe Snow III, Daril Norris, Austin Coleman, Jeffery Dickenson, and Seth Holton.
