One of Chicago's oldest and most prominent women passed away when Miss Elizabeth
Skinner, daughter of the late Judge Mark Skinner, died on Sept. 26 in
Manchester, Vt., after a long illness.
Miss Skinner's Chicago residence at 612 Rush Street has been a landmark of the
city for many years. Miss Skinner is survived by a sister, Fredrika, and it was
a tradition that the pair never were separated. At all of the social functions
half a century ago both sisters were always seen.
Miss Fredrika was with her sister when she died. Miss Elizabeth Skinner was 80
years old. Mark Skinner Willing, a nephew, also survives.
