Versa was united in marriage with Adam Bowers on 13 December of 1900 in Richland County. She was the mother of Melvin, Evelyn Ruth, Floyd George, Wilbur Ray, Harry F., Mae Irene, Gladys Marie and Clarence Walter Bowers.
She was a member of the Trinity EUB Church and the Golden Age Club of near Bellville.
Versa died at People's Hospital after an illness of only one day. Funeral services were held at the Snyder Funeral Home in Bellville with the pastor Samuel French officiating. Burial was in the Four Corners Cemetery (aka Zion), Middle Section, Worthington Twp, Richland County, Ohio.
