LIZZIE M. QUICK
Mrs. Lizzie Mawyer Quick, 82, of 148 Goodman St., died Jan. 20, 1985, in a local hospital.
Born in Albemarle Co. on Sept. 8, 1902, she was the daughter of the late Kemper and Alice Critzer Mawyer and the widow of James B. Quick.
Mrs. Quick was a member of the First Christian Church.
She is survived by one son, James B. Quick Jr. of Charlottesville; two daughters, Mildred Thomas of Valparaiso, Ind. and Shirley Shiflett of Pawtucket, R.I: one brother, Raymond G. Mawyer of Charlottesville: two sisters, Helen Corker of Richmond and Myrtle Goolsby of Greenwood; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday at the Teague & Hawkins Chapel, with Mr. William J. Sleasman officiating. Interment will be in Moticello Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 2260 Ivy Road.
