ANDOVER - Jones, Wayne Allen, 87, beloved husband and father passed away June 18, 2009 with family by his side. He was born in Putnam, OK., on October 25, 1921 to Leon and Mary Jane Jones. He was one of 13 children. He served in The Army Corp, and served as a Deacon for many years at Langley Christian Church in Oklahoma and a member of the VFW. Visitation, Sunday June 21 from 1-4 PM and Funeral Services held Monday June 22, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. both at Lakeview Funeral Home 12100 E. 13th Street, Wichita, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Mary Jane Jones, son: Darrell Jones and 6 sisters and 5 brothers. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margie Jones, Wichita, KS., son: Carroll Jones, Andover, KS., daughter: Connie (Ron) Wolf, Augusta, KS., sister: Ruth Kice, Manhattan, KS., 7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
