Dr. Forbes Norris Obituary
Fortville----Dr. Forbes H. Norris, 83, of Winter Park, Fla., died there recently. Born Aug. 23, 1896, in Fortville, he was a retired school superintendent, a position he had held for 43 years. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Orlando, Fla., and the Harvard Club.
He is survived by one son, Dr. F.H. Norris Jr. of San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Marjorie Norris of Alexandria, Va.; one brother, Kenneth Norris of Anderson; one sister, Mrs. Fred Fair of Fortville; and three grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Fisher Funeral Home here with the Rev. Sam Garbur officiating. Burial will be at Gravel Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
