Lawrence was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army where he saw duty in the European Theater.
He attended Los Angeles City College and obtained his A.A. in Accounting and worked for Packard-Bell for 20 years, then later owned his own accounting agency.
A five year resident of Madera, Lawrence passed away Friday, July 30, 2010 at a Fresno hospital at age 91.
Lawrence is survived by his daughter and her husband, of Madera, CA., three sisters, and a brother of CA, and three grandchildren.
Recitation of the Rosary was held on Friday, August 6, 2010, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at the Holy Redeemer Chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA.
