Billy R. Adams, age 72, of Silver Lake, Indiana passed away Thursday November 15, 2012 at 12:45 PM in his residence.

On October 30, 1940, he was born in Van Lear, Kentucky to Raymond and Gladys (Webb) Adams. He married Linda Whitaker on November 21, 1960 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. She preceded him in death on October 25, 2008.

Billy moved to Kosciusko County in 1962. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for Dalton Foundry for 25 years until he retired. After retiring from Dalton Foundry, he worked for Indiana Vac Form, Warsaw.

He was a member of Early Apostolic Training Center, Claypool and would preach services there on occasion. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Billy is survived by three daughters, Ival Blocher, Silver Lake, Billie, Fogle, Orangeburg, South Carolina and Rachel Adams, Silver Lake; one brother, Larry J. Adams, Bucyrus, Ohio; one sister, Tanya Auxier, Van Lear, Kentucky, six grandchildren, Amanda Blocher, Elizabeth Adams, Kerry "J.R." Adams, Heather Blocher, Billy Slone and April Fogle and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, Gladys Pelphry and a daughter.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Early Apostolic Training Center, Claypool with Pastor Dean Ealey officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.

Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Early Apostolic Training Center, Claypool.
