Rev. H. B. Musselman was born in Upper Milford Township to Rev. Jonas and Lucy (Brunner) Musselman. On April 23, 1888 he married Anna Baus, the marriage performed by his brother, Rev. William B. Musselman. Ordained in 1893, he served for 53 years with the Mennonite Brethren in Christ churches, now Bible Fellowship, holding many important offices. He was chairman of Annual Conference for 43 years, Presiding Elder for 43 years and served as president of the Board of Directors, Board of Foreign Missions and Board of Trustees of the Home. Before his death he preached his own funeral sermon which was recorded and played at his funeral.
