3 small stones on the back of Reuben's headstone are for Robert 7 yrs, Clarence 3 yrs, and William 1 Mo. It is assumed that Clarence and William are also Ruben's and Jane's children.
Interesting note: York Legal Record Vol XIII Nov 9 1899 No 23, Jane was the plantiff, as Ruben was deceased, in a suit regarding a fence line. It describes the land in Hanover between Baltimore and York Streets near Middle Street where Ruben had bought the land from Henry and built his house on the foundation built by Henry. This pinpoints where they lived.
