She lived in Allegheny, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in 1880. The family moved to Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania by 1900. She married Louis Ray Christie on 4 June 1902, in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Bertha and Louis were living in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin in 1905 where Louis worked as an architect. In 1910, they lived in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois where Louis still worked as an architect. In 1920, they lived in Glenn Ellyn Village in Milton Township, DuPage County, Illinois where they stayed for at least 10 years. In 1935, they had moved to Miami, Dade County, Florida where they stayed at least 5 years. Louis died in 1945. In 1950, Bertha lived in the Willsey Nursing Home in Orange County, Florida. She died in 1951, in Orange County, Florida, at the age of 76, and was buried in Shiloh Cemetery, Fruitland Park, Lake County, Florida. There were no children documented on any census records throughout the years.
