She married Henry Vollmer, Jr., on April 5, 1888, and they had a daughter, Katherine "Kate" Vollmer. After his death in 1891, she married Henry's brother, William Vollmer on January 29, 1903, and they had a son, Paul H. Vollmer.
Her sister, Lina Detering, is buried at Washington Cemetery. Another sister, Alvina Neuen, is buried at St Peters UCC Cemetery.
