He was a native of Yell County, a retired produce salesman, and son of the late Wilburn and Nancy Flurry Apple. He was proceeded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include two brothers, Horace Apple of Dardanelle and Carl Apple of Humphrey; two sisters, Allie McMinn of Dardanelle and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral was held Saturday at Cornwell Chapel by the Rev. Edward Warren. Burial was in Possum Trot (aka) Piney Fork Cemetery at Havana by Cornwell Funeral Service.
