Chatham Rites Held for Floyd Knight
Funeral services for Floyd Guy Knight, 78, of 58 Austerlitz Street, Chatham, were held on Saturday afternoon at the Wenk Funeral Home, Chatham. Rev. Donald R. Wing, pastor of the First Reformed Church of Chatham officiated. Internment was in the family plot at Chatham Rural Cemetery. Mr. Knight died at Pittsfield General Hospital on Thursday, Feb. 23. A native of East Chatham, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Crofut Knight. He was born on April 5, 1889. Mr. Knight had been employed by the late Dr. Isaac Washburn until his death. Mr. Knight had been a member of the Chatham Exchange Club and Chatham Grange No. 900. Surviving are his wife, Maude F. Reynolds Knight of Chatham; one son, Dr. Edward W. Knight of Stockbridge, Mass.; one sister Mrs. Edith Jones of Detroit, Mich.; five grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
