Mrs. Elizabeth Wood aged 76 years, widow of the late B. A. Wood, of Franklin, died at 11:50 o'clock Sunday night at the Davis Home in Rocky Grove. Death was due to a complication of diseases. She was in fairly good health up until Friday.
Mrs. Wood was well known in Franklin, Rocky Grove and vicinity. For the past four years she has made home with her sister, Mrs. Katherine Davis, at the Davis Invalid Home. She was a kind, Christian woman and enjoyed a wide acquaintance. She attended the Rocky Grove Presbyterian church. Her husband died in 1914.
Surviving are the following sons and daughters: N.J.Wood, of Franklin; Mrs. A. A. Gorman, of Holbrook, Pa.; Mrs. Milo Babbitt, of Canaserago, N.Y.; Mrs. W. H. Hadley, Mrs. P. J. Klabbatz, Mrs. George Walters, Mrs. Charles Gantz, Ralph, Charles and John Wood, all of Morrisville, Pa. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Katherine M. Davis and Mrs. S. W. McBride, of Rocky Grove; J.N.Davis, of Edenburg, Lawrence County; J. T. Davis, of Pleasantville, and E. E. Davis, of Kansas.
