She moved to Portland in 1944, and was a hostess for the Lloyd Center Village Inn Pancake House. In 1934, she married John M. Rymer, he died in 1939. She married Joseph W. Hoober in 1942, they divorced. She married Larue Hopkins, he died in 1991. Survivors include her daughters, Chris Erba, Carolyn Arntson and Sharon Faulkner; sons, Jim Rymer and Robert Hoober; brothers, Frank Gonsioroski and Don Gonsioroski; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
