Virginia Day Bixler

Miss Virginia Day Bixler a former resident of 2613 sixth avenue, died Thursday evening. She was born at Bixler's Mills, Perry County, on Aug. 27, 1856, a daughter of Jacob and Sarah (Lesh) Bixler. Miss Bixler had been a resident of Altoona for the past forty five years and through out that period a faithful member of Simpson Methodist church. Surviving are only a number of nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at the N.A. Stevens Mortuary.

BIXLER- Funeral services for Miss Virginia Day Bixler, formerly of 2613 Sixth avenue, will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Stevens Memorial chapel, by Rv. J.P. ? Turner. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.. Friends are being received at the N. A. Stevens Mortuary , 1421 Eighth Avenue.
