Of Carroll Co., Dies;
Final Rites Thursday
DELPHI — George Raymond Siferd,
78, of route 2, Delphi, died
Tuesday at 3:20 p.m. at the home
of a daughter, Mrs. Fannie Elston,
route 2, Delphi. He had been ill
several months.
Born April 8, 1879, in White
county he was the son of Moses
and Mary Elizabeth Logan Siferd.
His marriage was to Laura Ireland,
who died in 1918.
Surviving children are: Mrs.
Fannie Elston, route 2, Delphi;
Mrs. Jessie Keever, Monticello;
Mrs. Bessie Hauser, route 2, Delphi;
Mrs. Edna Roth, Monticello.
Also surviving are twenty grandchildren
and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Eikenberry
funeral home after one
o'clock this afternoon. Final rites
will be at two o'clock Thursday
at the funeral home. The Reverend
Donald Longnecker will officiate
and burial will be in Cedarville
cemetery.

78, of route 2, Delphi, died
